Dr. Krystal Bove was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She has traveled all across the United States and completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She then decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian and obtained her DVM in 2015 at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Looking for a place to settle down, Dr. Bove moved out to California in 2016 and has been practicing small animal medicine in the Central Valley region ever since. She very much looks forward to serving the Oakdale community, and being able to practice gold standard medicine in a family-oriented atmosphere.
Dr. Bove has always had a strong passion for feline medicine, and strives to make every feline friend’s appointment as stress-free and comfortable as possible. She also enjoys keeping her patient’s teeth happy and healthy through all life stages, and has taken several continuing education courses in canine and feline dentistry.
In her freetime, Dr. Bove enjoys exploring all that Northern California has to offer outdoors with her husband Adam. They met in Modesto, California and are newlyweds as of September 2019. Together they have 3 rescue pets, including a quirky Pug-mix named Jack and the sweetest, old Basset Hound named Roo.
