BVSc MSc MRCVS

Surgery

I moved to Oakdale in 2013. My focus of interest is orthopedic surgery, primarily, the repair of complicated fractures with the aid of bone plates and external skeletal fixation. I also enjoy performing surgery for the treatment of cruciate ligament disease in the canine knee.

I grew up in Cambridge, England and gained my degrees at the University of Liverpool, England, graduating in 2008 with both a Bachelors and a Masters in veterinary science. In 2011, I completed a 12 month scholarship in orthopedics and neurosurgery at Fitzpatrick Referrals and attended an AO course; 'Princiapls in Small Animal Fracture Management'. Since joining OVG I regularly set time aside to attend continuing education courses focused around orthopedic surgery to stay current and improve my medical and surgical knowledge.

I have three English Labradors, Mowgli, Kobe and Mochi, a Jack Russell 'Terrorist' named Macha and a Bengal cat named 'Goose'. I love living in the community of Oakdale and look forward to meeting all of you and your animal families in the near future.

I am a member of NSJVMA, AVMA, CVMA, AAHA and was previously a member of the RCVS before emigrating from the UK.
