Veterinary Technician
Lauren has been in the veterinary field for 8 years. She worked in internal medicine & the ICU unit in the Bay Area for 4 years and has been on the OVG team for 2 years now.
What is your favorite part about your job?
Getting to pet all the labradors.
If you could be an animal for a day, what animal would you choose to be and why?
Eagle, so I can see all the beautiful sunrises from a great view.
You can only eat one dish for every meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for a whole month; what meal are you choosing?

Lab, because they are always happy.
You're stranded on an island for a month; what 4 things are you bringing with you?
My bow to fish and hunt for food, life straw for fresh water, and my dogs.
If you had to take one coworker from OVG with you, who would you take and why?
Brea, so we can be savages, hunt and survive while having fun.
What is your favorite season of the year and why?
Winter because I love snowboarding.
What is your favorite responsibility/task/procedure to perform at work?
Inpatient.
What is your number one tip you have for pet owners? It can be anything from care tips, treat/food recommendations, tips before vet visits, etc.

Pistachio Latte with Oatmilk.
What made you go into the veterinary medicine field for your career?
I love helping animals and their owners.

Waking up To watch the sunrise, hiking all day until sunset.

Greece because it looks gorgeous.
