I moved to Oakdale in 2013. My focus of interest is orthopedic surgery, primarily, the repair of complicated fractures with the aid of bone plates and external skeletal fixation. I also enjoy performing TPLO surgery for the treatment of cruciate ligament disease in the canine knee.
I grew up in Cambridge, England and gained my degrees at the University of Liverpool, England, graduating in 2008 with both a Bachelors and a Masters in veterinary science. In 2011, I completed a scholarship in orthopedics and neurosurgery at I have two dogs, a cat, nine chickens, a goat and a steer. I love living in the community of Oakdale and look forward to meeting all of you and your animal friends in the near future.

Dr. Anita Zifer

Dr Zifer has practiced in the valley region of California for over 20 years. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine. Dr Zifer is excited to move to a practice that focuses on creating a lasting relationship with clients and their pets. She is a firm believer in communicating with owners to ensure that every pet gets the best care possible. Dr Zifer is available for appointments on Wednesdays, Fridays and one Saturday a month. In her free time, Dr. Zifer enjoys spending time with her family, reading books and travelling. She has a rambunctious Yorkie, Thor,  and two adorable cats, Tom and Leia. 

Dr. Sergio Iniguez


Dr. Iniguez was born and raised in Madera, California. Growing up Dr. Iniguez picked and pruned grapes during school vacations. During his high school years, he had the opportunity to work with Oakdale native and bull riding champion legend Dr. LeTourneau. While working for Dr. LeTourneau, he was influenced and inspired to become a veterinarian. After high school he studied at Loma Linda University and earned an associate of science in surgical technology and a bachelor of science in respiratory therapy. While at Loma Linda University Medical Center he had the opportunity to help patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. Soon after he attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his final year at Oklahoma State University. Immediately after completing veterinary school Dr. Iniguez had the opportunity to teach respiratory therapy students and veterinary technician students. Teaching respiratory therapy students ranged from lectures to supervising students for case studies at many central valley hospitals such as Madera Children’s Hospital to UCSF Medical Center. In his spare time Dr. Iniguez enjoys bicycling, playing chess, drinking coffee, spending time with his children, going on veterinary medical missionary trips and looking for the purrfect cat.  Dr. Iniguez enjoys skin allergy cases, dental cases and ultrasound studies. Someday he would like to have a pet themed coffee shop and write a children’s book.

Jessica Layton


Jessica has been at Oakdale Veterinary Group since 2012. She started working as a Customer Service Representative and moved onto Management. Jessica enjoys working with the community she grew up in. She takes pride in being from Oakdale and now raising her family here as well. Jessica is a wonderful member of the team who is great at multitasking, taking wonderful care of our customers’ needs and bringing a warm smile to the office every day!

Taylor Partenheimer


Taylor has lived in Oakdale since she was 2. Her family has always had cats and dogs growing up and she currently has a 5 year old American Staffordshire named Miley. She loves bring around animals so working at a veterinary office is a dream come true for her. Taylor is one of the many friendly team members we have and we are happy to have her.

Chelsea was raised in Oakdale, her dream as a child was to become a veterinary technician as she was raised around a family that bred Mastiffs. Chelsea took a different path and became an Esthetician and while she loved working with people, her call for working with animals came. She'll be the first Customer Service Representative to jump for joy as your cute little fur baby walks through the door.

Breanne McGuire RVT (Head Technician)


Bre was born and raised in Turlock, she has two dogs called Rocko and ChiChi; a cat named Meatloaf and two horse, Sweetie and Crystal. In her spare time she enjoys barrel racing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with her family. Breanne gained her RVT in the summer of 2016. She enjoys working in surgery and would like to specialize in Veterinary Dentistry in her future.

Kirsten Luna RVT 


Kirsten is born and raised in Los Banos. Since a very young age she always knew she wanted to work with animals. She succeeded in making her way to Denver, CO and graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in 2009. She became a Registered Technician in 2010. She recently has joined the team in 2018. She is looking forward to upholding Oakdale Veterinary Groups outlook on veterinary care and she can't wait to help you and your furry family members.

Krickett is our longest serving employee. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding our 4-legged patients and their collection of ailments. She loves all the patients as if they were her own pets.

Amanda is one of our Veterinary Technicians. She has been apart of our team for the past 4 years. Amanda has two black German Shepard's, Piston & Axell. When she's not working, Amanda enjoys spending her free time staying active with her fiancé and family.

Natalie Jimenez


Natalie is  one of our full time technicians who happens to be fluent in both English and Spanish. She was born in Santa Clara, CA but proudly raised in our small town of Oakdale since she was 7. She had two small Poodles and a German Shepard that she loves to take on adventures. Natalie is set to take her test in November to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. You can count on her caring and loving out furry best friends as if they were her own.

Melissa Ratto


Melissa is one of our full time veterinary technicians. She joined us from the VEC in Modesto. She is currently studying for her Registered Veterinary Technician exam. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 3 daughters. Melissa is also a dog mom to 3 Great Danes, Pixie, Pistol and Pandora, and a Lab named Molly.

Vivian joined us from the human medicine side as a CMS and is BLS certified. She also has worked many years in the animal field, both in day practice and emergency clinics. When not here with us, she is enjoying being a mom to 2 amazing boys.

    When I made the decision that I wanted to join the Anderson Vet Clinic team, Dr. Anderson really took me under his wing and helped me invest myself wholeheartedly. Since then, I've been helping pet owners make healthier choices and living a healthier life with their pets.' Marina Mason was born and raised in San Diego, California. Marina graduated from Kaplan University with a medical administration degree and has been working with Dr. Anderson for over 15 years. During Marina's free time she loves spending as much time as she can with her family, traveling, eating out and dancing.
