Dr Ned Trathan

Dr Trathan

I moved to Oakdale in 2013. My focus of interest is orthopedic surgery, primarily, the repair of complicated fractures with the aid of bone plates and external skeletal fixation. I also enjoy performing TPLO surgery for the treatment of cruciate ligament disease in the canine knee.
I grew up in Cambridge, England and gained my degrees at the University of Liverpool, England, graduating in 2008 with both a Bachelors and a Masters in veterinary science. In 2011, I completed a scholarship in orthopedics and neurosurgery at I have two dogs, a cat, nine chickens, a goat and a steer. I love living in the community of Oakdale and look forward to meeting all of you and your animal friends in the near future.

Dr Jenny Edwards

I grew up nearby in Riverbank, California, where my family’s many pets and involvement in 4-H fostered an early love of animals. I graduated from Riverbank High School and went on to attend UC Berkeley for my undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology (Go Bears!). The travel bug got the best of me, however, and I found myself pursuing my veterinary dream overseas in the United Kingdom at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. While a student I worked in a variety of small animal and large animal externships around the UK and California, as well as a veterinary hospital in Egypt. I returned to California after graduating and have been practicing locally and throughout the state ever since. In addition to dogs and cats I also have an interest in working with exotics, wildlife, and farm animals. If I’m not globetrotting when I have time off, I try to make the most of what California has to offer: sunshine, mountains, gardening, the beach?, and adventures with my petite pit bull, Persimmon?. I am committed to practicing a high standard of veterinary medicine, I love working with the team at Oakdale Veterinary Group, and I look forward to continuing to be part of this central valley community.
